A painting about waiting. It comes from the beginning of a crisis, when you find yourself suspended in emptiness and begin to realise that all you are doing is waiting to see what happens next. It seems as though no one is there, yet it is full of life. Fungal spores drift through the air everywhere, and you do nothing but rest and watch what unfolds.

Waiting in Liminal Space was originally painted by hand in gouache on paper, where the chaos of an unexpected crisis meets the poetic beauty of East Asian aesthetics. The painting was carefully digitized and printed onto this eco friendly cotton tote bag, allowing the beauty of emptiness, yet teeming with life accompany you wherever you go.

Made from 100% certified organic cotton twill, this tote combines refined design, sustainability, and everyday practicality. It is spacious enough for groceries, books, or art supplies, and yes, it is machine washable.

Take a look at the detail of the photo. The fabric has a slight texture. The tote bag material features diagonal stripes, which are also visible in the print. That’s what makes the fabric so durable and able to carry a lot of weight. 📚

• Canceling an order: Once your purchase is completed, it’s automatically sent to the printing center, so canceling your order is unfortunately almost impossible.
